String or Paper Strip Method
You’ll need:
- A piece of string, thin strip of paper, or dental floss
- A ruler (preferably with millimeters)
- A pen or fine marker
Steps:
- Wrap the string or paper around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Don’t pull too tight — it should be snug but comfortable.
- Mark the point where the end meets the string/paper.
- Lay the string flat and measure the length (in mm) from the start to the mark using the ruler.
